The Asustor LOCKERSTOR 12RD AS6512RD 12-Bay Rackmount NAS Enclosure is a 2 RU rackmount NAS enclosure that supports up to twelve 3.5"/2.5" SATA III drives. The NAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, Single or JBOD modes to balance between security and performance according to your needs. The NAS also has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 2.5G Ethernet connectors. The LOCKERSTOR 12RD AS6512RD is designed to deliver read speeds of up to 591 MB/s with 565 MB/s write speeds when both 2.5G Ethernet ports are combined through link aggregation for 5G Ethernet speeds and the drives are in RAID 5 configuration. Performance can be boosted to 1180 MB/s read and write speeds by installing a compatible 10G Ethernet adapter into the available PCIe 3.0 x8 slot.
